Heritage Language Studio

Sawubona Be seen. Be heard.

IsiZulu mastery steeped in heritage, built for the modern voice.

Start Your Journey

A studio built
on connection.

"One conversation
at a time.
One story at a time."

Zulu Aunty is a community platform. At its heart, a place to bring people together. To make us see each other. To connect.

Language is one of the most powerful tools in human connection. To speak someone's language is to say: I see you. I value you. I want to know you. With each language there are nuances that can only be conveyed in that language.

At Zulu Aunty, our bridge is isiZulu. We are a heritage studio where the language is learned, spoken, and preserved. Through lessons, book clubs, workshops, and proverbs, we gather to celebrate life, love, and community.

Find Your Path

Six ways to belong. One circle.

Our Approach

Learn the language.
Live the culture.

Our approach goes beyond grammar and vocabulary. We teach isiZulu through the lens of heritage — ensuring you don't just speak the words, but understand the soul behind them.

Whether you're starting from zero, reconnecting with what you already carry, or preparing for a test — the method is the same. Small, steady, rooted. Five minutes a day is enough.

"Apps teach you words. Courses teach you grammar. We teach you to belong."

Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu. We are only as good as our people say we are.
